Join us every Second Saturday for a morning of stewardship at Otis R. Johnson Wilderness Park! Volunteers will help care for the park through a variety of seasonal projects, which may include:
• Invasive plant removal
• Native plant and tree care
• Litter cleanup
• Trail and habitat maintenance
• Sign cleaning and park improvements
No experience is necessary. Tools, gloves, and instruction will be provided.
What to Bring:
Closed-toe shoes or hiking boots
Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
Water bottle and a snack
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
Work gloves (optional, extras available)
Meet at the Laurel Street entrance at the start of the event. Stewardship activities will vary each month based on seasonal priorities and park needs.
We look forward to seeing you there and helping care for one of Fort Bragg's treasured natural spaces!
