In partnership with Community Soil Foundation, we are gathering in community for a fun day in the public garden including live music by the Funky Milagro, a community potluck, and a rainwater tank demonstration provided by our very own water conservation experts!

This is part 2 of a 2 series rainwater harvesting system installation at Larkfield Community Garden in Larkfield-Wikiup. As part of our Rain Catchers in Your Neighborhood Program, Conservation Works installs rainwater harvesting systems at schools, community gardens, and other public spaces that the community gets to help build!
Come on by ready to lend a hand and learn about the steps it takes to install a rainwater tank in your own garden. Part 1 focused on building the tank pad. This event (part 2) will be focused on the plumbing, which including putting together the conveyance and creating a rain garden for the overflow section.
All ages and skill levels are welcome. Please wear sturdy shoes.
