This is part 2 of a 2 series rainwater harvesting system installation at Larkfield Community Garden in Larkfield-Wikiup. As part of our Rain Catchers in Your Neighborhood Program, Conservation Works installs rainwater harvesting systems at schools, community gardens, and other public spaces that the community gets to help build!

Come on by ready to lend a hand and learn about the steps it takes to install a rainwater tank in your own garden. Part 1 focused on building the tank pad. This event (part 2) will be focused on the plumbing, which including putting together the conveyance and creating a rain garden for the overflow section.

All ages and skill levels are welcome. Please wear sturdy shoes. Stick around afterwards and help out in the garden! Community Soil Foundation opens up their garden space to volunteers from 10-2pm on the third Saturday of each month.
