volunteers

We can use volunteers throughout our programs, and in our office.  Every volunteer helps us deliver on our mission and is a valued member of our Team!

Specifically for programs, here are a few examples:wormbins

Worm Wizards of Waste: we need people to learn about composting with red worms in easily-constructed bins, and if you are handy with tools, you can learn to use wood supplies to build simple but sturdy platforms for each school-wide bin site, or learn how  "Recycling Changes Everything" so you can help present talks in classrooms at a school to help form a school "Compost Club" to carry on the composting program at the school into the future and more!

Bee Patches: Learn about the importance of pollinators, and their needs for year-round forage, water sources, nesting areas, and safety from pesticides. Learn games to play with kids to show them pollination and the importance of pollinators to our food supply.  Help youth plant forage on our local farms and ranches.  Be a part of saving our pollinators.

Office Staff: Our office needs volunteer assistance to help us with filing, data entry, and other standard office functions.  If you like to do event planning, we have a volunteer role for you too!
